NVC
This book is changing my life. And hopefully how I communicate in future.
To learn for the first time how to communicate without putting the blame on anyone else, and taking responsibility for your feelings!
First two parts of the 4 part process
*Clearly state your observation without including feelings
Acknowledging the fact with time and exact example of situation or action. No blame or criticism.
*State how it actually makes you feel
This means learning the feelings we have, understanding and acknowledging the feeling. It is not that we feel good or bad, it means that we feel sad, anxious, stressed, happy, excited, etc

Let's Go
Journaling & Accountability
When you write down all the jobs you want to do in a day and how long you think it would take for you, my total almost comes up to 23 hours (although, that does not count in travel time)
Let's do basics first!
-Sleep 8 hours
-Eat 2 hours (breakfast/lunch/dinner - eat and prep)-Work 8 hours
-Active 1 hour (workout/yoga)
-Read 1 hour
-Study 1 hour
-Meditate 30 minutes
-Journal 30 minutes
-Plan the day 30 minutes
-----------------------------------------------
Total of 22 hours 30 minutes
So let's try this! Last weeks 7 day kickstart challenge with Jiri inspired me. And when better to start than on 1st May - today!
Couple of other things to note:
-Healthy eating (less snacking and sugar, more protein, veggies and fruits)-Drinking enough water (2-3 liter a day)
-Socialise (face to face and via calls/texts)
-Fast between 8pm and 8am (minimum of 12 hours, if can't do more)
-Mindful about spending money
-On weekends 8 hour work can be replaced by different projects and more socialising, as well as extra hour or so of studying (I know how important it is, I just don't understand why I am not focusing on it enough!)

Thank you 2021
It’s been an amazing experience. Starting from lockdown (another one) walks with Jolanta and learning to live on my own, getting into habit of cooking myself and eating healthy. Coming back to work in the gym, rocking the fitness part of my life, and being happy with myself. Moving house with Martina in middle of pandemic. And having successful house warming. Making decision to step up and do what I have been wanting for a while - doing yoga teaching course! Leaving Soho House, after almost 7 years. Spending three weeks in Greece soaking up sunshine and knowledge all things yoga. Starting new job, working with Wayne for Arrival company, such a different hospitality environment. Trip to Naples with Jolanta, staying at Elīna’s and exploring the city. And Christmas in Latvia, united with family.
